I'm new on GS Forum and this is my first post.

I searched the forum for my problem but didn't find an answer.

First, I built my GS site locally on my computer and at the end, uploaded it to my hoster.

The site worked perfectly, except for the admin section. I got a white page after the login.

So, I have decided to start a fresh install directly on my hoster. It worked perfectly (I rebuild all pages, one by one) but at the last save.... I got the white page again.

I can't manage my site anymore, always get the white page after login (/admin/pages.php). Any ideas?

First time I got white page, I put some debug traces in admin/pages.php and it seems to get the error when calling : get_template('header', cl($SITENAME).' &raquo; '.i18n_r('PAGE_MANAGEMENT'));

For example to have content from an "About Us" - section pulled into the "Home" - section of a get simple website.
I guess you could just use some PHP like simpleXML to load & parse the XML-file for that section but I just wonder if there is another way of doing it that is more related to the get simple cms.

Since the forum software update, Firefox v12.0 (on WinXP) and Iceweasel v12.0 (also Firefox, on Debian 6) no longer auto-fill the login form. Neither the 'Remember password' feature of Firefox, nor the 'Remember me' feature of the PunBB login page will work. All scripting and cookies are enabled; cache and cookies have been cleared, without improvement. No other sites have a problem.

Is anyone else seeing this, please?

I would like to create a simple schema eg. :

Typical Use Requirements

1) Have my users go to a page -- populate the fields above from a template and submit.

2) User able to go to a second page and search in each or all of the tags--hopefully with some sort of wild cards and boolean logic.

3) system provides a list of matches (nice to have them prioritized)

4) user can Click on list to preview (with copy to clipboard)

5) user can Click on preview to download sql code.


Would GetSimple provide this functionality?  I have decent skills in webpage design & programming --C#/Java-- CMS (sharepoint), but would prefer to keep the customization to a minimum -- because it would be a side job--no direct allocation of time/effort from my duties.  If not, could someone recommend another sol'n?

This happened to me on Monday too and I just gave up and did a clean reinstall. I did have everything with various plugins working and was configuring i18n Special pages when I lost the front end. All the data is in the back end, the files are there, they just do not show up.

I have screwed something up, but I don't know what or how to troublehshoot this. I whent back to the last task I had done on the back end-adding some code to the special pages in view mode, and removed that, but it didn't restore the site. I also backtracked to the last couple things I did via FTP and deleted the files I had uploaded in case that was causing a conflict.

I am stumped and very bummed. This is the third install using 3.1. http://sa-test.info

Any suggestions for what to try next?

I've added a component to my theme and the component is added like this:

My problem is that as soon as I add the code to the page in html mode and save the code turns into this:

What am I doing it wrong?

However, the galleries are not centered on the content page even though I centred the gallery tags.
I have also tried using (% gallery name=my-gallery-name js=false %) as I am using the I18N cycle slidshow on the same page.
This too does not help.
Any ideas?
