What is a "featured slideshow feature" ?
As it goes for the second thing, thumbnails may be pasted in the wysiwyg content editor wherever you want.
Addons: blue business theme, Online Visitors, Notepad

"Featured Slideshow feature" is a kind of slideshow with articles as content

this is mostly used in blogs, for example with the wordpress theme suffusion

I do not really see any sense in using this in a CMS, (although CMS and blog is often mixed in perception, as Wordpress evangelists try to tell us that WP is a CMS )

so: you can install it in a template, why not

but it is not out of the box

Since this is the off-topic section... :

I'm not a Wordpress evangelist, but I still think WP is a CMS. Maybe I don't know what a CMS realy is?...

I think that the meaning of a cms is a system to put content on the web in an organised way. A blog-system is also a category of cms-en.

If you defne it that way, everything is a contetmanagementsystem, even a folder on a harddisk ;=)

In my opinion WP is a great blogging system which I use intensively, but all attempts to define it as a CMS just because they have pages beside postings s a little bit assumptive

just my 5 cents ;=)

Ok. The answer is yes, this cms has this feature via (multiple) photogallery-plugins.

The only one I succesfully tested is this one:

http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/gsg...allery/85/

But recently there are others as well. Check if they are available in version 3.0.
