Topic: Spam recognition

After looking at lots of spam in the last months here in this forum, I would say that you could recognize at least 70% of the spam by having a link without white space/punctuation around it. Maybe a punBB plugin to reject posts like that would be a good idea to reduce the amount of spam?

I could not find any documentation on PunBB about SPAM, just nothing, does anybody knows of a list of PunBB-Plugins?

this is a very poor list, regarding to user management and spam, it seems the developers live in paradise ;=)

the antispam captcha is a pain in the a...

nothing to delete zero-posters or banned users, really poor

what Martin is asking for: Nothing ...

punbb has a new version out, so i may attempt to see what upgrading to it will take... hopefully that helps a little too.

I'm member on an other (Dutch) forum. There they use so called user-driven moderation . It is explained here:

If you put the niveaufilter by default on 0, -1 posts are not shown by default. Also, I think it's good to have voting based on posts instead of based on person.
