Topic: Unzipping Archive

I created an archive using the ADMIN page and downloaded it to my Windows 7 PC.  When I try to unzip it, Windows says the file is invalid.

Are the archive zip files compatible with Windows 7?

yes they are

check the archive file : to compare you could download it by FTP from your server, the files are located in the backup-directory

I opened backup-ZIPs in WIN7 with WINZIP, 7Zip and other applications, they were allright

I am sure something went wrong when you downloaded it

i use 7-Zip. If your host doesnt have ZipArchive installed, then it creates a gzipped tar file, which the Windows' default zip program cannot understand.

I downloaded 7-Zip and was able to unzip the archive.
