What is the upgrade path from 3.3.15 to 3.4? Is this the same as regular small version upgrade (upload /admin/ + /index.php)?
I am thinking of using it for my personal site since it isn't vital and 3.4 is pretty stable, right? In the mean time I can test some plugins, etc.
Plugins WILL BREAK, some, it should be tested but is fairly stable and we have made some mitigation to make some plugins continue to work, but some might not and some might need adjustments turn off old jquery etc

Just wondered if we have a date on the horizon for 3.4 release and has an alternative been found to replace the current flash file upload method?

Yeah I don't know why this was never made into a plugin.
