I would like to request a simple api for extend which could retrieve an array including the title, download link, description, author, and version of each plugin.

I am not sure if something like this has been thought over or if it is in motion already, but it would make creating a plugin downloaded a breeze.

we already have something like this... but it wont return "all" plugins... only the info on the plugin you request of it. http://get-simple.info/wiki/plugins:extend_api

Cool, I have a great looking plugin downloader that will be easily adaptable to work with the api.. I will get it ready for extend.
