I am an average web designer with graphic designing background. Only 5-6 months back I came to know about Get-Simple. I decided to give it a try. My first work delayed bit because of some other commitments. No doubt, this is an amazing CMS. I redesigned my main website using Get Simple.

you placed your logo in the background picture.
the correct way seo wise is to make it a diffrent object ( like png..) and give it a link to your main URL.

your buttons are dead....... use :hover to make the UI interesting.

Flash is pretty much history ... so lose the flash and get yourself a nice jQuery slider...
