i saw that. at first i thought it was a spam site b/c of all the ads and the old image of GS. odd...
I think this is the real link:
http://smashinghub.com/alternatives-to-w...oggers.htm
It's inside a frame of the one that Connie posted.
I'ts good to see GS listed in blogs out there, but I think the author got it wrong (besides listing it twice :-)), because right now GS is not blog-oriented (by default)...
Seeing as Drupal is on the list I don't think they're exactly listing them by blogging capabilities.
I think this is part of the strategy to declare WordPress a CMS ... it has CMS features but it is not at all a CMS
@Heavyweight
Drupal comes with a blog module, doesn't it?

I don't understand, what makes Wordpress not a cms? What makes (for example) GS a cms that Wordpress doesn't?
I think Wordpress is a cms focussed on blogging. It doesn't have the limitations of other pure blogging systems, I might be wrong off course.
I do not want to continue this discussion from my side. It is an ideological discussion!
WP is a blogsystem with some CMS features. It is not a CMS like Drupal or Typo3 or smaller CMS ...
