Does GS compress uploaded jpg images? Seems it does as a photo I uploaded is reported correctly to have 96kB in upload.php. Whereas in a browser it has only 29kB and looks accordingly crappy. Any way to overcome it?

I checked at this page: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/ and there my pictures have correct size. So this compression must be happening somewhere beyond the server, thus can't be caused by GS.
Anyway - could you guys with various internet providers check the actual size of this image: http://sopot.gmina.pl/data/uploads/dysku...-20121.jpg
