Is there any plans to put Redactorjs editor into GS instead of CKEditor. It is simpler, faster, smaller, and easier to maintain and extend.

Yes I was looking at this yesterday, redactor is pretty awesome.
I am currently working on a editor plugin that will at some time allow editor selection and customization.

Sure, you can do this after purchasing the Developer License. In this case, you are allowed to include Redactor in all your
open source projects, including those published under GPL, BSD, etc.
GetSimple is an
open-source project licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.
I think it might be some time for some fundraising?
