I want to use the WYSIWYG Editor (as described in http://get-simple.info/wiki/how_to:wysiwyg_editor ) but when I want to edit a page it doesn't appear.
It is enabled in the settings and all files are in my GetSimple installation/admin/template/js/ckeditor/ ,

Furthermore the there is no problem with the Editor at
http://www.opensourcecms.com/demo/2/269/GetSimple+CMS

So I don't know what is going wrong.
Check for javascript errors using the console in whatever browser you are using.

What language are you using ?
I use the default language (en_US). I also installed de_de, but I didn't use it so far.
I sent the page to

http://validator.w3.org/check#

with the following result:

I hope this helps!
As I wrote I have no problems with the editor at

http://www.opensourcecms.com/demo/2/269/GetSimple+CMS

I also sent this page to the evaluator, which also shows errors:

When you edit a page, do you get the plaintext (non-wysiwyg) editor, or no editor at all?
Carlos Wrote:When you edit a page, do you get the plaintext (non-wysiwyg) editor, or no editor at all?

I see the Edit Page with a field for the title and a field where I can enter HTML code.
And the buttons for Page 0ptions and View.
But no buttons for formatting etc.
Any plugins installed?

If you enable debug mode, do you get any warnings or notices?

[edit] Also, have you tested with different browsers?
validation is worthless to us.

[edit] Also, have you tested with different browsers?

I tested the following browsers with

http://www.opensourcecms.com/demo/2/269/GetSimple+CMS
(Admin Username: admin
Admin Password: demo123 )
MSIE, Coolnovo/Crome, and Firefox work
Opera doesn't, although Javascript is enabled and the bottom toolbar of opensourcecms.com works, which probably also runs on javascript.

[edit] Also, have you tested with different browsers?

Now I tested http://eneresearch.de/getsimple/admin/edit.php in
MSIE, Firefox, Chrome and Opera, all have JS enabled: In none of them it works.
Carlos Wrote:Any plugins installed?

All plugins deactivated, same problem.
Carlos Wrote:Any plugins installed?

Now I activated debug mode.

Now below the login fields the following messages appear:

Clicking on "here" I get back to the login page, so in fact I cannot proceed.
Go to: Admin -> Support -> Health check

Is there anything not in green?
PHP version?
Code:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /kunden/370832_12161/webseiten/getsimple/admin/inc/logging.class.php:49) in

Thats strange, that class doesn't output anything, So I wonder why it says headers already sent,
Neither does cookie_functions:24

I have those timezone infos but they never give me header warnings.
very strange

Also the logging class is only loaded when logging in ill try to reproduce, but check your permissions on
data/other/logs and failedlogins.log

Also what php version ?

The site is hosted at

Yep, since the beginning there is a yellow warning:

ZipArchive Not Installed - Warning

[edit] Also, have you tested with different browsers?

Now I activated debug mode *after* having logged in.
But so far there are no messages.
shawn_a Wrote:validation is worthless to us.

Well no it's not, unless you enjoy tag soup!
Worthless for debugging.

I found that the redirect function does its own header sent detection and erroring , which is very confusing, I hope some one knows why. Or what the purpose it serves as its not commented.
It's because the error process itself generates headers.

Basically if you stop all errors from occurring or use a less strict error reporting mechanism, there will be no problem.
Thats what I figure but I didn't write the code. Or know what its purpose was.

I run in strict and I and never have encountered this.

I've actually been working on this to rid these. When a user logs in, their timezone gets applied and these errors go away. So its only when not logged in and strict mode.

Obviously here is an issue where this is not happening, either the user has no timezone set, or a bad one.
Or its failing for some other reason and redirecting.

I wanted to add a timezone to GS itself and using that when a user is not logged in. This way a timezone is always set.
