To add a new page to a theme, do I write the page in notepad or whatever and then upload it via ftp? I'm just trying to work out all the different options and functionality of GS.

A new page to the theme?

A new page for the website should be done through the admin section of GetSimple, a new template file for the theme should be uploaded to the theme’s folder by FTP. There are no “pages” in the theme folder.
