It would be nice, if the display of special characters in this forum could be fixed. At the moment it is very hard to read the German section: :-(

These strange characters are the result of the switch from one forum software to another. They occur only in old posts.
Unfortunately the existence of special characters was ignored when moving (or the moving-process did not offer that feature...)
as you know, the world has more colors than american -english... but what to do?
I think it is not possible to repair this manually and on my site, I capitaluted and accept that situation with resignation ;=(

There was a utf-8 conversion issue with either exporting or importing the database backups. After a non planned move of the site. One day we might get it fixed but it is not a minor issue and does not have a minor fix.
