I manage around 75 different websites with WordPress installations. I'm giving GetSimple serious consideration as a replacement for my entire business model. I'm very tired of WP security attacks, DB queries and overall WP load on the server.

Before I make the move, I need to verify something....

For WordPress, there's a free, 3rd party dashboard called InfiniteWP that lets me update all of my websites (WordPress core, plugins and themes) from one central command center.

Does GetSimple have anything like this? Logging in to 75 websites isn't a good use of our time and we really need something like this to make it feasible to manage these sites.

If it doesn't exist, does GetSimple allow a way to remotely manage the site similar to XMLRPC in WordPress? Or put another way, can it be built by a 3rd party developer?
There is not, but it would be fairly easy to write one.

There is a cmd line cli someone recently started working on, it is somewhere in the forums and on github, I can post later if I find it.
Thanks for the response, Shawn. Please post if you run across it.

In a worst case scenario, I could always have an .exe or Adobe AIR app created that backs up, uploads and overwrites the core files.

Or...I might just roll back to good 'ole static sites. WordPress is serious overkill on 90% of the sites I deal with. Everyone *thinks* they want a blog until it's time to start writing periodic content. Wink
