Hi everyone - I am new to Get Simple and so far I am very impressed with its functionality.

I have it running on MS 2008 Server hosted but when the configuration finished I never got the email with the password. I changed it OK in settings and have carried on editing fine. Can you point me in the right direction as to where the email functions are and where maybe to change the SMTP server name etc. I have looked but just can't find it at all.

Thanks jwzumwalt but i think that is an answer to another question. i was wondering where in the code I would find the settings for sending mail.

You may want to look at this script for a pluggin that sends it's own email form.

In gsconfig, you might have to set your outgoing for it to work assuming you are allowed to send mail
