Been looking at the documentation for theme development and wondered how many developers actually used the suggested edit.css.
So far I've downloaded maybe thirty or so themes and am struggling to find one that uses edit.css
Afaik there's no documentation on what exactly should be in the editor.css file. Or I missed that doc.

Other files found in a theme folder are:
A file named editor.css in the theme folder will enable the CKeditor to display page content more accurately.
Because even if you use it, its not gonna style partial html as it contains no wrappers or classes, which is how most modern css selectors work. you have to make a custom editor.css to match your style, not just copy your css. It is more work usually.
But its a nice feature if people made complete use of it, it will probably be more beneficial with newer features of ckeditor like styles and widgets, so you can actually insert fragments etc.

Gskeleton 2 (also by Timbow) also has one.
You might get more responses if you change edit.css into editor.css in the topic title.
Would be nice to have an automatic content listing of every plugin/theme zip-file uploaded in extend
