403 Forbidden Access to this resource on the server is denied! - harrisc - 2019-04-06
Hi
On a new cPanel hosting I installed a new setup of Get Simple (3.3.15) The server runs Litespeed. Everything works but I can not edit/Save the Home page. I get the message "403 Forbidden Access to this resource on the server is denied!" The cPanel error list gives message "2019-04-06 15:50:26.131945 [INFO] [61.245.158.169:50462-Q:16816315775709501986-5] File not found [/home/xxxxxx/public_html/403.shtml] "
I checked the permissions. From what I can see, all folders are 755 and files are 644. I can place and edit files in the main web directory
I can edit/save any other page. Where should I look for the problem.
Any help appreciated??

Check your mod security rules on your hoster.
If you can't edit mod security your self, contact
support and ask them to white list.

Thanks. Mod security was the problem and the hosting company fixed it.
