I had been looking for a CMS for my short story site, and GetSimple is perfect. I easily modified the Innovation theme. After finishing I ran the numbers and determined that this new site is 6 times smaller than my old WP/MySQL site. Gotta love GetSimple!

If you get rid of heavy, fixed backg img http://uncleharriet.com/theme/Malleable/images/img503wide.png big, and stay with gray backg color with red side borders, it will look more appealing.
Blue border at the top header also doesn't fit to colour set used on your page.
And leave hovered menu button's texts white.

For me, it now looks 100% better
ps. there's a white line at the top of header, probably a 1px top border.
I'm not sure if it's intended.
A bit darker font color on homepage would make the texts more readable.
