Your Page Structure - [/root.] - 2011-08-28 Just a quick question.. do you assign all of your pages to the index page as a parent? If yes then why? What is the best practice here and what we should consider by choosing this or that way of a page structure? Your Page Structure - Connie - 2011-08-28 Well, what would be the effect of placing everything beneath "index" ? A two-level-menu? I never placed all pages below "index", by that I would never get a firstlevel menu Mostly I have four or five main topics and these have more or less children Your Page Structure - polyfragmented - 2011-08-28 As Connie said, different top-level menu points plus any children to those top points if necessary. Other CMS like Contao display pages under a "website root" in the admin section which often is the index page. GS does not do that since it is, out-of-the-box, a one-domain CMS. |
