I have just uploaded my offline install of GetSimple to a folder on my client's srver for testing but received the following error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '&', expecting T_VARIABLE or '$' in /webcorp1/www/corpusers/f/a/farhorizonindia.com/new/newsite/admin/inc/common.php on line 19
Any idea why is this there?

Maybe PHP version < 5.2 ?

PHP was fine. I got to know that the site URL was directed to a subdirectory. I put my GetSimple install inside the subdirectory but even that did not work. So finally I have asked them to redirect the site URL to the root folder. Now it works fine.
