Store Fronts - rfuller - 2012-06-01 Question for those that have experience with store fronts sites. I am planing a site(s) for a Auto Dealer that has two different dealerships on the same grounds a Ford Dealership and a Jeep Dealership. What they like to do is have a home page that describes the Company profile with page links to a Ford site and one to a Jeep site. My question to you developers is if I do this on one domain and do sub domains 1 for Ford and 1 for Jeep will I get as good of SEO coverage through the Search Engine Spiders or would it be better to have each on their own domain? Thanks for any help anyone can provide. Bob Store Fronts - m1k3y - 2012-06-01 I experiencend that if you choose a subdomain, especially google will make a big link to your domain and beneath there will be smaller links to subdomain and normal sites... A completely new domain for the Ford/jeep Page would be different, as it is harder for search Engine to see the connection between these Domain and your orignal one Store Fronts - Lambourne - 2012-06-15 Seemingly it would be better to have each on their own domain Then link each other at the bottom. |
