I'm wondering how to add gategories and archives to sidebar. I'm using getsimpleCMS 3.1.2 and default Innovation theme. I want those under galleries section.

you can edit the template in the backend, when you are logged in and add the elements which you want to add, for example a component.
which categories do you mean?
which archives do you mean?
Do you refer to the newsmanager plugin? Then check the documentation about the syntax, how to integrate that into the template
