edit right side of default template - jumper - 2012-11-02 Hello. I'm new and need help finding something. Where do I go to edit the right side of the sites home page? It's probably something simple but I can't find it. Any help is appreciated, jumper RE: edit right side of default template - Connie - 2012-11-02 Hi and welcome here! First you have to tell us which theme you use, because they all have different structures incase you use Innovation, the standard theme, check the file "sidebar.php", this file creates the sidebar at the right side RE: edit right side of default template - Carlos - 2012-11-02 @jumper Admin -> Theme -> Edit components -> sidebar @Connie Innovation theme was changed, now it's sidebar.inc.php RE: edit right side of default template - Connie - 2012-11-02 (2012-11-02, 18:04:50)Carlos Wrote: @Connie Carlos, you are wright, I looked into the wrong folder ;=) well, if there is a component "sidebar" and that is integrated in the active theme, then this would be the place to edit the content, if not the component has to be added to the template RE: edit right side of default template - jumper - 2012-11-02 Hi.. Thanks to both of you. That was where it was alright. Have one more question. I'm not used to how things work in GS (the way the coding is done), but how do I make the items under the right header to be links? Oh, and I am using the default theme because it's very clean looking. thanks so much for your help! jumper (2012-11-02, 22:12:56)Connie Wrote:(2012-11-02, 18:04:50)Carlos Wrote: @Connie RE: edit right side of default template - Connie - 2012-11-03 I think your last question is answered already in the other post! Open the file, and add HTML-code where you want it Cheers, Connie |
