Cannot View New Pages - noa711 - 2013-01-03 I'm making a very simple 2 or 3 page website. The problem is that only the index page seems to work. Whenever I create a new page, I can see it in the admin backend, but it doesn't publish properly. I have a feeling it might be a University issue (the site is for my dad who's a professor and it's hosted at the Univ. site) but I'd like confirmation of this, since I was able to make new pages work yesterday just after installation but they stopped working about an hour later. The site I'm referring to is http://www.ehu.es/luisvega Thanks! RE: Cannot View New Pages - Connie - 2013-01-03 did you check the little box to have the pages shine up in the menue? Check the options of the page, I am sure the pages are not active good luck, Connie RE: Cannot View New Pages - noa711 - 2013-01-03 Yeah, I did include them in the menu of course. I just decided to remove them when I realized they weren't working. I'll activate the menu again so you can check for yourself. Never mind, I think it had something to do with fancy URLs. I disabled them and everything works fine now. RE: Cannot View New Pages - Connie - 2013-01-03 that is strange. To use friendly URL you have to activate that in the settings area PLUS to edit the .htaccess did you edit both? RE: Cannot View New Pages - noa711 - 2013-01-03 Yeah I tried activating the pagify plugin with pretty URLs so that must be it. |
