Remove stuff on the right of my sites - raphael - 2013-02-23 Hi, I just installed getsimple as a tool for my personal notes. So far I like it very much but I was wondering if there is an easy way to get rid of that stuff on the right site of my newly created page like the features-list and that social media stuff ... Am I missing something? Thanks for your answers & Kind regards Raphael RE: Remove stuff on the right of my sites - Carlos - 2013-02-23 The feature list is in the sidebar component (admin -> theme) I assume you use the default Innovation theme. To remove the social stuff, edit theme file sidebar.inc.php and remove all this: PHP Code: <div class="section" id="socialmedia" > RE: Remove stuff on the right of my sites - shawn_a - 2013-02-23 Or use another theme RE: Remove stuff on the right of my sites - WebDevandPhoto - 2013-02-28 My theme doesn't have a sidebar atm and you can always give it one easily considering the CSS framework I used. You can download it here: http://get-simple.info/extend/theme/foundationnation-responsive-theme/598/ yea the sidebar can get really annoying... another trick is you can set the sidebar elements to display:none in your CSS which could solve the issue without requiring to edit any theme files. RE: Remove stuff on the right of my sites - shovenose - 2013-03-01 But on innovation you will need to fix stuff to make it centered after removing the sidebar. We need a new default theme RE: Remove stuff on the right of my sites - datiswous - 2013-03-01 (2013-02-28, 20:55:41)WebDevandPhoto Wrote: My theme doesn't have a sidebar atm css is part of the theme files. I don't see how you can change css without editting these files. |
