Installation problem - surfnut - 2013-06-03 Hi guys. First time user here. I`m trying to install GetSimpleCMS on to a site to play around with and get to know: http://www.surf-devon.com I`ve uploaded all the files from 3.2.1 into a folder I`ve created called `CMS` I`ve then tried navigating as it says to: http://www.surf-devon.com/CMS.html but that hasnt worked. I`ve also tried (long shot I know) : http://www.surf-devon.com/CMS.html.tld/path-to-get-simple/admin/install.php What am I missing? Thanks. I also thought I read somewhere that they`d help you with your 1st installation, but cant see where or how I contact them RE: Installation problem - Timbow - 2013-06-03 If you made a subfolder called CMS for a GetSimple install you need to put this in your browser: http://www.your-domain.com/CMS/ Hopefully before anyone else does. GS is an Open Source project developed and sustained by volunteers. By posting here you have contacted 'Them'. That`s done it. Didnt realise the .html was stopping it |
