Social networking tools assistance - shawn_a - 2014-01-10
We need to streamline our social networking communication.
Does anyone know of good tools so we can manage a newsletter,facebook,twitter,rss feed announcements ?
Ideally we need to be able to make or post an announcement to forums or a tool and have it syndicated for us automatically.
We also need newsletter management probably.

I know mailchimp has rss feed and rss-to-email function (apart from social functions). Maybe something like this can help as well: http://mods.mybb.com/view/rss-feed-poster
and this: https://ifttt.com/wtf
If you would use RSS to email, you can use the Forum as a rss-source.

As to newsletter, one of best free tools I worked with is poMMo. Its simple and quite powerfull. It was abandoned few years ago by the oryginal creator (www.pommo.org), but now is being continued as separate project on github: https://github.com/soonick/poMMo
Facebook and Twitter can be integrated - facebook posts can automatically be posted on twitter (or the other way around).
If you could create separate RSS feed for some announcement thread, then you need only something like this: https://zapier.com/zapbook/rss/facebook-pages/3796/post-rss-feed-to-facebook-page/ (not test, just found it)
