Renaming a page slug "index"? - Palmer - 2014-05-19 Hey guys, I need to edit some content on the homepage of a website, I've made the template "home-template.php" etc which I'm using which is fine, but everytime I try to rename the page to "index" it goes to "index-1". I'm using .htm for this site (fancy urls/htaccess) is working fine. That's usually because there's already an index.htm? I've deleted the existing static index.htm. All that's left is the index.php, but if I delete that the site breaks. I think it's because of the .php? Any ideas much appreciated! Thanks, Chris RE: Renaming a page slug "index"? - shawn_a - 2014-05-20 There is a page called index by default, you need to edit that one. RE: Renaming a page slug "index"? - Palmer - 2014-05-20 The index.php in the route? Thanks. RE: Renaming a page slug "index"? - shawn_a - 2014-05-20 not index.php the slug named index |
