install fill in emailadres as option instead of requirement - datiswous - 2014-07-01 During an install I have to fill in an e-mail address. when I fill in a fake one I get an error with password info. I click on the login link under it and I'm in my site. I don't see the need for that extra email. Would be nice to have that as an already activated option in the install process, which I can uncheck. RE: install fill in emailadres as option instead of requirement - shawn_a - 2014-07-01 It used to not show the password properly, so this is a relatively new thing. The email is typically there to attempt to send you a password, in case you do not change it, which im sure alot of people forget to, and log out or session timesout, or if there is a fatal failure, which you later fix. RE: install fill in emailadres as option instead of requirement - datiswous - 2014-07-01 Ok I understand that it might be needed. |
