Just came across the GSCkePatch patch to overrides Ckeditor 3.x with Ckeditor 4.4.7 on edit page.
What is the advantage to doing this and how is it done?

A. It doesn't suck
B. Works in ie 11
C. Works with new plugins and themes from cke site

Why not implement the Ckeditor 4.4 as default for GS and then make Ckeditor 3.x override as a patch?

Where can I find instructions for updating?
And as mentioned, why is this not included in the latest version of GS?
