Install Warnings - leegold - 2016-05-22
Hi,
Using win7 and the VertrigoServ WAMP Server.
I copied the folder GetSimpleCMS-3.3.9 inthe www folder and went to http://localhost/GetSimpleCMS-3.3.9/admin/install.php
and I get a "ton" of warnings and Getsimple does not work. Eg.
( ! ) Warning: file_put_contents(C:\Program Files (x86)\VertrigoServ\www\GetSimpleCMS-3.3.9/data/other/plugins.xml): failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\Program Files (x86)\VertrigoServ\www\GetSimpleCMS-3.3.9\admin\inc\basic.php on line 315

most of them are like this above. What should I do? Thanks.

Might be the user that is running Apache doesn't have write permissions on the htdocs folder.

I reinstalled and used an older version of WAMP - no problems - works OK now.

Wow.After trying about twenty CMS this is the first one that makes sense to me.
