Google found page not linked - Didier9 - 2016-10-09
I had been working on a page (under getsimple) for a product I intend to offer for sale but I am not ready yet.
The page had no link whatsoever anywhere and a fairly long/complicated name.
I created the page in March and it is still there, but dormant (and not linked anywhere) since I am still waiting for my vendor.
Someone contacted me via email today to ask me if the product was available. He said he found it on google.
I googled a few words from the page title and lo and behold, it was the first hit on the Google result page.
I would appreciate any insight as to how Google could have found about it.

sitemap, unless you mark the page private it is on your sitemap.
You can disable sitemap generation entirely in GSCONFIG, but all plugins might not observe it.
