Simple Thumbs - regenerate thumbnails - morvy - 2017-03-12
Hello everybody,
Plugin is intended to help with thumbnails regeneration when you change default thumbnail size or you want to create thumbnails with different dimensions in a directory. Plugin uses integrated GetSimple scripts to handle images. It works only in currently opened directory in Files tab, so if you need to regenerate all thumbnails, you need to navigate to each directory and click the button.
Before first use, please save the configuration, otherwise you won't be able to see the button in Files section.
Plugin was tested on website where single gallery has over 2000 images (took a while

I was quick too as I got feedback that not all servers can handle 50 images in single batch (and I thought it's enough as on my server 200 worked fine).

* Added "Images per batch" option
* Added Slovak language
After update, go to settings and re-save configuration with batch value.
PS: forgot to mention, this plugin supports MultiUser plugin, so you can hide Regenerate button or Settings separately.

I measured the memory consuption and it went to 50MB with 200 batch, so I think this isn't going to be an issue. I saw the memory_limit workaround in GS sources, but it didn't help at all on my friend's hosting (memory limit is 128MB, timeout 30s and I couldn't increase it over that number), so if it doesn't work for all, I rather go for batch size, that can help with this.

3.4 has some regen capability built in, auto and url querystrings.
