The stylesheet for the default admin theme is missing a global (text) color specification. I have a custom text color setting in my browser and it looks strange to see this in the admin theme which has a completely different color scheme.
It’s best to always set font, color, and body background color specifically (and therefore override any user settings) if you want to be sure that the theme looks as you want.
