PROBLEM GetSimple Blog Problems / reinstallation
#1
hi,
on my offline GS GetSimple Blog is running**,
but on another version, all buttons are a kind of "death":
On the article-site is always the info "settings updated", but nothing happens.

It should be more easy to uninstall this plugin completely, to get a clean reinstall!
Because I tried to delete the plugin and its moons, but it seems, that I don't delete everything of that.

and the plugin-admin says, that I should update to 3.4.3 - but there is no:
I use the latest:
GetSimple-Blog Version: 3.4.2
GS Version 3.3.13

** but "funny": this installation is writing in the top of ervery site, 3 to X times: "Blog Settings File successfully written!"
<div class="updated">Blog Setti .... so: unusable in the first practice.

btw: are there other fine Blog-PlugIns for GS?
related "GS Blog" I already test. ... too with problems.
A small but good one is News-Manager.

Thanx, datiswous! The "Blog Settings File successfully written!"-issue is solved!

Now I still stuck with the first article-page: I don't get ahead, even when I click categorie etc.
<...getsimple/admin/load.php?id=gs-blog&manage>
<...getsimple/admin/load.php?id=gs-blog&categories> ... ?
May be there is a problem in my 'updated' GS-installation: Once I keep all the plugins and themes (after deactivation), but delete the other folders, to refresh the installation. ...

Just now I'm trying "News manager"-Plugin ...

Apparently GetSimple Blog has a conflict with Multi user plugin. See here: http://get-simple.info/forums/showthread.php?tid=6238&pid=59309#pid59309 (you should post there if you have problems with the plugin in the future).

Btw. for blogs you can also use the i18N search plugin . Here's some info about configuration for a blog: http://mvlcek.bplaced.net/get-simple/search-news/
