GetSimple cookie use?
#1
Hey!

I could not find this information on in the documention or on the regular get simple website so I am asking here:
Does GetSimple use cookies and in that case for what? Swedish law dictates that all websites using cookies must inform the visitors...

Just off the top of me head I know we use cookies for the login.

That is all I can think of right now though.

Never understood that one particular law over here, but to put your mind at ease:

The core GetSimple package (I can not speak for plugins or analytic code you add to the template yourself) does not create any cookies as far as the visitor is concerned. It will only create a cookie when you log in on the admin panel. I don’t think any cookies are created when a use would accidentally load the login page or even falsely login so you should be safe as far as the law is concerned.
“Don’t forget the important ˚ (not °) on the a,” says the Unicode lover.
