This is a great tool for smaller sites and non-techie site owners. I just used it for a friends site (german):

It took me less than half a day altogether to learn about and install GetSimple locally, rebuild the given static site, install it on her webserver (some php5 issues and htaccess-things to be solved with her provider 1und1.de), go online and publish initial content. That's great. Yes, we will donate.

I think there's too much white area.
Menu on the left side doesn't need to be that big.
