help with merging multiple themes

Greetings!

I'm using a modified version of the Innovation theme for our website, and I was hoping to include the Simple Mobile theme - http://get-simple.info/extend/theme/simple-mobile/417/ - and "force" it to render if a user visits on a phone.

It seems like it should be relatively easy, but I'm not particularly well versed in php so I'm struggling to figure it out.

Alternatively, is there a way to "activate" different themes dpending on brownser size so that rather than rolling the mobile components into Innovation the CMS would simply load the mobile theme instead?

When I was teaching myself to use responsive grids I adapted Innovation to put the content blocks on the skeleton grid.
