Thanks a bunch for this theme, it rocks my socks! Switched to it today from another theme, which failed really hard with changing window size and this is just blissful compared to it. Already brought my changes over from the other theme and smooth sailing all the way.

Are you sure that it's not your editor to add the BOM? My files are stripped from BOMs.. Uhm I wonder if anyone else checked for it..
