But they can work. It’s just that GetSimple has been developed in an Apache environment. To use mod_rewrite for Apache you use a HTACCESS-file. lighttpd does not support HTACCES-files, but it does support mod_rewrite. They have documentation about it, so you will just have to change the Apache mod_rewrite commands into those working for lighttpd.

This is often a permission error. If lighttpd supports CHMOD or something similar please make sure that the GetSimple has access to the theme files.

I think (and hope) that you will even be able to get those few errors worked out!
