Hello, i just installed this system on my website,
There is a problem, when i am trying to set up my forum,
i can't do that,
"Unable to continue: Unable to write config file. CHMOD 777 the folders /data, /backups and their sub-folders and retry"
And in the requirments pages it says :
Folder Permissions Error - Not Writable
What should i do to solve this problem?
thanks you

Hi and welcome here!
there is no forum with GetSimple, but that is not the problem ...
your problem is that GetSimple cannot write data to the folders
it is described in the wiki:
http://get-simple.info/wiki/installation
and you have to do exactly what the error message tells: set the the necessary permissions to these folders
usually this is done with a FTP-Program, when you upload the files you can also set the permissions
when you don't know how to do that, you can ask your hoster's support to set the correct permissions
if you have a good hoster. I am sure they will help you
good luck!

sorry, there are some basic things you always need to know if you upload files to a server and want to use these files
if you need it now, you have a problem
because you have to learn a little bit
something what is not special for GetSimple but for all web projects which you upload on a server
I cannot explain the world for you
if you are under windows, use Filezilla for example
in the server window, click on one of these directoris (data ... ), right click / context menu
set permissions for all files and files in subdirectories
type 755 or 777 in the input field
