Displaying 'Most viewed' page?

Been using GetSimple for some time now on a range of projects and its working beautifully. However, I've been asked if I can display a 'Most Viewed' page (with a short excerpt of a paragraph or two) to the homepage of a site. I've looked through Extend and can't see anything which specifically does this - does anyone know if its possible to do this?

There's no such plugin nor core functionality, but you might have a closer look at Mvlcek's hitcount plugin, as afair it allows to pull some stats to show on frontpage, and that can be a base for thing you want to achieve.

Thanks for the pointer yojoe, I'm already using that for backend hit tracking so I'll look into that functionality (that bit must have passed me by).
