SVG files

If you select images in the editor is not visible SVG files. Can I somehow change this in the future?

It seems the editor does not work with these files.

Yes and the file manager. The file manager does not see svg files as image files and probably therefore don't show up when you try to add an image in the editor. If you just add the url to the image, you can still add it though.

They are considered compressed files
you can try modifiying

function get_FileType($ext) {
and moving it to images and see what happens
