good question, I used <? ?> not <?php ?>
I'll try to test again after I find out, how to get rid of changing chars to entities when creating contact form using p01 plugin.
edit: seems I have to use <?php ?> to parse php scripts.
I'll investigate php settings on my hosting accounts later.

It’s
PHP INI’s short_open_tag. I have found that it’s disabled on many hosts, not surprised you had this problem.

K, php isn't the problem anymore, I'll just use <?php
got to look at the beginning of scripts found on inet.
Next thing: could somebody confirm, that after saving page under opera browser, it doesn't reload the window, but shows blank (white) ?
edit: sorrz, this problem may occur due to some modifications, because in FX browser I have the same problem.

small bug with r273 (got via svn today)
after a (succesful)
Created the folder /data/users/
Created the folder /backup/users/
Renamed website.xml to _legacy_website.xml
Created updated website.xml file
Renamed user.xml to _legacy_user.xml
Renamed cp_settings.xml to _legacy_cp_settings.xml
i get a
Error: Unable to create new marco.xml file!
(marco is my name so i think some permission error trigger line 75 in update.php)

It's possible to get a parametre for language in config.xml ?
Because if you logout and get login page, the lang parametre is not loaded.
