fritzsalzmann.com - A simple and fast blog
#1
Spring is coming, and I intend to blog regularly. My simple blog (in German) does what I want, backups are easy and I have total control of the layout:
https://fritzsalzmann.com/

No more WordPress for me, because I like simplicity and speed. Being a minimalist makes life easier.

Yes I agree with that.
WordPress - Drupal - Joomla - etc. etc. they are over-engineered for what most of the time only is needed.
Of course they have their place for bigger corporations or programmers who work in pools.
But if you are in the 1- 50 webpage range, they are totally over kill. And last but not least:
WordPress is notorious for it's exploited plugins and bloated code that makes it perform slow.
Long story short: WordPress is followed - GetSimple-cms is chosen !

Hello kazu2015,

unfortunately I switched from GetSimple to Jekyll (a static blog generator that is written in Ruby).

I just inserted the links by hand - as there were not that many articles.
