You could make a html5 audio embedding plugin. I use mp3-html5.php, but I am not satisfied with the workflow. You can see it being used on my site: https://wouterb.be

I think it would be better to have a plugin page where I can select music file, settings (like play in loop, adding css, etc) and then gives me a shortcode. You could implement optional image or description adding functionallity.
You could optionally add your youtube-plugin functionality to this (just an idea, probably not necessary), so it becomes sort of a general media embedding plugin.

An example of similar functionality, but with links, can be seen with the Links manager plugin.

It's just an idea, I don't need it, but it would be cool.

I really want a plugin to create the simplest online booking system for a small family hotel.
Required Features:
- room occupancy calendar;
- seasonal prices;
Desired features:
- Export / import of employment calendar in iCal format;

Below are links to implementation examples:
1) PHP Hotel Booking is written in PHP and not using any MySQL database-the information is saved instead in XML files. https://www.netartmedia.net/php-hotel-booking.html

2) Free Open Source Hotel Reservation & Online Booking System
https://demo.qloapps.com/

3) HBook Hotel booking system WordPress Plugin
https://codecanyon.net/item/hbook-hotel-...n/10622779

4) Online Hotel Booking System Pro

More plugins! ;D

New News letter plugin.
New events calendar.
Booking calendar.
Star ratings plugin.
Countdown plugin.

Some kind of  "top list" plugin, where visitors can vote up or down and most votes goes top etc.
Something like ranker.com has.

For me, I am always searching new responsive GS themes magazine style.

A navigation bar on top that becomes responsive, a sidebar left or right and a good area for text and content.

I searched for a very long time AJAX & PHP 5-Star Rating with Flat File Storage.
And I did find him here
http://fofwebdesign.co.uk/template/_testing/5star/
Can you make a plugin out of it?
It would be nice if the plugin created a folder from the page slug in the file storage and automatically added two files to it.
You can bind it to the plugin I18N Special pages.

Here you just need to create a folder for each special page and place two files in it - counter.php and counter.txt
Codes for stars to mix in the template for special pages.
Of course, this can be done manually. Smile

5 star rating without verification and review text is worth as much as the toilet without flushing.

It is possible to add results to html5 microdata.
counters.txt
Code:
star-1||0
star-2||0
star-3||0
star-4||0
star-5||0

hi from France,
my opinion is that we seriously need Payment gateway for GS, Stripe and Paypal

>> E-COMMERCE is REALLY missing for GS, and this is why so few people don't pay much attention to this great CMS...

there is existing plugin Stripe but i can't make it work, and the author seems too busy when i got in touch.

This would be a wonderful adding to the community,

What do you think "MULTICOLOR" ?

Quote:... and this is why so few people don't pay much attention to this great CMS ...

A missing payment gateway is NOT the reason why people don't pay much attention to this great GS CMS ...
GS is a diamond buried under a pile of status quo cms systems, e.g. wordpress, drupal, joomla, etc. etc.
Remember the days of video tape cassettes ? The philips video 2000 system was way superior technically
and in quality to the VHS and Betamax video cassettes. And yet it was VHS who got the attention of the
people. It was all marketing, distribution and support.
GS doesn't have the amount of developers, plugins and templates behind of it like drupal, wordpress or joomla.
On top of that GS is a none sql system, a no go for bigger websites (more than a couple of 1000 pages)
GS is superior in easy api and php use, versatile, and shines in speed even in 1000 pages range.
But I am sure that you already know about all these things.

In most cases, it's easy to figure out whether you should go looking for a theme or a plugin. If you want to change your site's look and layout, a new theme is what you want. On the other hand, if you're in need of a specific feature, plugins are typically your best http://get-simple.info/extend/

It would be very nice to already have a plugin that will automatically create webp files with the same name in the jpg download folder. Then, in plugins, for example, galleries, it would be possible to use picture tags, and simultaneously load images with the webp extension.

Edit:
I updated to 3.0 - you can test before i release this to repo - webp now working and options auto compress or change ext to wep (support for jpg,png,gif)Smile

The plugin works fine on my hosting. The checkbox only turns on by itself. And it would be nice to make sure that you do not have to upload the same files twice, and the conversion takes place in parallel.
