Syntax error

Hi!
i try to install GS cms, but after uploading the file, i'm going with firefox to the adress for installing the cms but i have this problem:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '&', expecting T_VARIABLE or '$' in /web/htdocs/www.mysite.com/home/cms/admin/inc/common.php on line 17

Help!

Thsi usually happens when you don't have php 5.x installed.

My guess is your running 4.x
