Main menu selection on child page

Hi!

I have a page and main menu item "Support", with two child pages: "Installation" (meaning: get support on installation) and "Purchase"

+- Support
+- Installation
+- Purchase

When I open link to Installation page, in the main menu option "Support" should be selected... or not ?
Right now, it is not - main menu is completely unselected.

I am using Cardinal theme (absolutely beautiful) and version 1.7

You are right - it isn't selected. I could work on adding this in the future though. It does seem like it should be selected -- so i agree with you there.
