How to upload files to wamp
#1
How do you upload Plugin Files to wamp local server?

I found out that you can not just copy the file to the plugin folder, because they don't work unless I am missing something.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Strange... Just copying the uncompressed files into the plugins folder should work.
Maybe something about file permissions? Did you install WAMP and/or GS with another user?

Carlos

Thanks for the help.

I forgot to do the very obvious and copy the zip file up and then unzip it.

Sorry for asking such a dumb question, sometimes this old brain just doesn't think of the obvious solution.

Thanks so much for helping Carlos.

Are you talking about wamp under *nix systems ?
You can FTP it, or thorugh a SSH session Smile

Although unzipping is the safest method, as it works on system privileges.
Addons: blue business theme, Online Visitors, Notepad
