Theme: height: 100%, and editing what the Page Editor automates (<p>)
#1
Ok, first one: How do I make the entire template go all the way to the bottom of the page? I pasted: height: 100%; in the CSS (only one CSS with the theme I use) inside what seem to be all required divs: Body, templatemo_container, and the div which is in the center of the expanding: main_column.
It does not work: no results. If i instead put x amount of pixels in main_column's height, that will give results however...
Website: scrambled

Edit: actually, I want to have a minimum fixed percentage, maybe 60, 80 or 100% or so, and then for it to expand to make room for the rest of the objects made in Page (like text or images or whatever).

Second: The page editor is annoying. It doesn't allow me to use headlines inside a page, like <h3> without trouble (it will break and make plenty of new <p>'s and not allow/push symbols like ':' outside the header-tag), and also I do not always want every newline to be a new <p>, and I do not always want minimal two new-lines.
What I have to do to make only one new-line at the moment, is enter source editing, merge the paragraphs, and insert a </br>.

I have more small problems, but I forgot what they were :-)
Thank you.

Ok, first: a nice hello would be good ;=(

second:

a) http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&...ong.org%2F
there are errors in the HTML so that might affect the layout

b) there is a support thread for the template which you use, so you should post there:
http://get-simple.info/forum/topic/2154/...e-vtbfree/

c)
add this and the footer goes down

Code:
#templatemo_footer_bar {
....
position: absolute;
bottom:0px;
}

third:
which editor you use? You don't tell us whether it is the HTML-Editor (CKEditor) or the plain editor.
if you use the HTML-Editor, did you read the WIKI?
http://get-simple.info/wiki/how_to:wysiwyg_editor
There is a lot of information there

you are like a small child: I do not want that, I do not like this ..... ;=)
if you do not want a <p> as linebreak, read the wiki, you can easily define the behaviour of the editor
http://get-simple.info/wiki/how_to:edito..._linebreak

please be aware that the editor has a lot of configuration and that it is up to you to define it.
We gave a lot of information in the wiki and you should use that information

I am optimistic that your site will be like you want it to be

Cheers, Connie

Sorry xD But I have some excuses why not to: like I'm really angry/frustrated etc. I don't want to beg for help, so when I'm angry I want to be sincere, and not fake to be polite, you know~ something like that.
And also, on most/many many forums, most people don't care if you say hello, or most people don't say hello, so it's normal and maybe even respectable to make the shortest thread, to save time.
Different cultures.
But sorry: hello!

This moved the footer, but nothing followed. I also tried removing height: 100% from main_bar without success.

I called it "page editor", so standard page-editor. It doesn't tell me its name. It's a simple editor with few options: B, I, U, NL, BL, AL, AC, AR, Justify, Link, Image, R format, Source.

Sure, thanks. I just think the most obvious questions maybe should be answered, like sort of buggy or crazy behavior that many users probably will want to change (unless their website is crazy simple), and should maybe be easier to change.

You call it small child, others call it leader.
And also: it is a difference between demanding help for own life, and demanding help for others. I make my website as charity to inform others. If humanity (humans A) doesn't support me in helping humanity (humans B), then fuck humanity (humans A+B (all)). Really. It is not my duty to help those who do not want help, or help a race that is self-destructive. Fine humanity, destroy yourself xD
Maybe you sit there and are so proud of your Internet-work and require everyone else to bow down and salute you, but I do not behave this way towards people I help, so equally I expect you not to. Also: to me, the quality of a product is many-a-time shown by the "support desk" of any product. It reflects the community of the company, which reflects how the community and programmers think, reflecting how it's programmed. This is another reason why I try to only be brief: because many products are bad, and it's an easy and fast way to exclude products, by being a little rude, and instead apologize later if the community is friendly. Simply: if no one wants to help me; fine, I'll either 1) find out myself, or 2) change CMS, or 2) just write my own website in simple HTML. I don't need you, I just ask if anyone wanna help me, like I would help them.

Yes, I understood this by entering the wiki-link earlier above. But thanks.

Sure, alright.

I'm not sure what you mean, but thank you Smile

You have a lot of arguments.

I have only one, and that is: we are a friendly community and we like it to get a "hello" before we are overwhelmed by a long list of complaints.
Everybody here is an individual in a helpful community and not staff of a 100%-fit-for-all-products-company.

Cheers, Connie

Personally, I think "hi" or "hello" is extremely non-personal over the Internet, and worthless, so it does not come natural to me. Sorry. But I hear what you're saying.
And this is more my frustration than complaints. Maybe I am influenced by my landlord that complains everytime (s)he can't make or fix something.
Anyway, sorry.
